Support Medical students at the Umanand Prasad School of Medicine
Do you have spare laptops that now take up more space than they're worth?
Students from the Umanand Prasad School of Medicine would appreciate even the oldest of laptops for their medical education. Think of the difference note taking applications such as OneNote, anatomy applications such as Essential Anatomy, as well as access to video tutorials have made to your education.
While of course some students can afford these technologies, the socioeconomic gap between students is significant in Fiji, with those from poorer backgrounds missing out on these opportunities. Any donated laptops will be shipped to Fiji, and distributed to applicants deemed most in need financially.
We will be accepting laptops, chargers and any other associated accessories, so even if you are not sure if your contribution will be useful, please get in touch!
Please complete form below to express your interest, and we can arrange to pick up your second-hand laptop. Alternatively, you can drop it off at Monash University Clayton Halls of Residence, or at major Friends4Fiji events throughout the year.
